He didnt give back it as a loan, the stranger gave it to him as a gift. Chris didnt understand any of what we happening and why this stranger was giving him such a generous gift for no reason at all. But The man took Chris s address, so he could send him the title and he did with a letter saying. A great deal of generosity has come into my bread and butter lately, so I felt I could take your old car and use it as a trade-in. I can well afford something new, so why not give as good as Ive received. Then the man went on to tell him to pay it forward. Chris was so intrigued by this that he had to know more.
